Surgery

Erik had his surgery today and may still be in the operating room as I write this. His surgery was scheduled for 1:30 p.m. and it was expected to last 2 1/2 - 3 hours. The surgeons decided to put a valve in his esophogus to help prevent him from vomiting his food. This made the surgery time longer and made the surgery more invasive. I have been praying for my little buddy all day. I can't wait until my brother calls to tell me Erik is okay and how it all went. Hopefully he will recover soon. I love you and I am praying for you Erik! Love, Your Aunty:0)

Are you 100% sure you'll go to Heaven?

First you must realize that you are a sinner.
Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

Second, realize that a price must be paid for your sin...
Romans 5:12 says "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for all have sinned."
Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death..."
Revelation 20:14-15 says "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

Third, realize that Jesus paid that price.
Romans 5:8 says "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Fourth, repent!
Luke 13:3 says "I tell you, Nay: but except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."
II Corinthians says "For Godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death."

Fifth, receive Christ!
Romans 10:13 says "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
John 14:6 says "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me."

Are you willing to accept Jesus as your Savior? Then please ask Him to save your soul. You can ask Him in a prayer similar to this, "Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. Please forgive me of my sin and come into my heart as my Savior. I accept your free gift of salvation. Help me to live for You. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I ask this, Amen."
Saying this prayer won't save you by itself. You need to be sure you are talking to Jesus when you pray. True repentance is the only way. I hope you accept Christ as your Savior!
